Lord willing, the ecclesia in Redwood City (San Francisco Peninsula) will be holding its Weekend-with-the-Word March 25 and 26 at our ecclesial hall.
Brother Richard Morgan will be speaking on the following:
The Mother of All Living
We will be looking at the creation of Eve and why God made human beings in his image and likeness both male and female. What did it mean for the first woman to be in the image of God? Which particular attributes of God was Eve especially designed for? How does all this relate to the role of women?
The classes (3) will start at 1:30 PM on Saturday, to be followed by dinner at the hall. (If you arrive a bit early in the afternoon please join us for some refreshments.)
Sunday School will start at 9:30 AM, with a half hour coffee break before the start of our Sunday Service at 11 – this will be followed by a potluck lunch (provided by the Redwood City -SFP- Ecclesia).
If possible, would you please inform Sister Dolores Sleeper if you plan to attend any, or both, of these meals by March 19, so she can plan accordingly.
To our Friends and Neighbours of the Redwood City Community!
Together we gathered an amazing total of 585 pounds of Non-Perishable Food and other needed household necessities together!! What an amazing effort and contribution you have helped towards giving to those who are in need of food security, especially before the festive holiday period! More families could come together and enjoy a nourishing meal thanks to YOU!
What we ALL did:
11th Dec: our Young At Heart group hand delivered a reusable bag and note asking for assistance in donating to our local community through the Second Harvest of Silicon Valley. 17th Dec: You had the bags full of items to donate for us to collect or dropped them off at our hall. Our YAH group split into groups and collected the bags you all had put out for collection. Our hearts lifted and big smiles covered their faces when on so many doorsteps, we could see the bag waiting to be picked up, full! We are so thankful to you all for your combined efforts in giving! We’re sure there were many thankful prayers from those who received these generous donations! 20th Dec: Donations dropped off.

Young At Heart, the youth program at San Francisco Peninsula Christadelphian Ecclesia, will be collecting non-perishable food and supplies for donation to Second Harvest on Saturday, December 17th. We would love for your help: If you are able, please consider helping us give by leaving some non-perishable food/supplies in the provided bag for us to collect from your porch on Saturday (12/17). We will likely come by between 10am and 3pm. Or, if you’d prefer, you can also drop off donations at our hall the next day, Sunday (12/18), @ 1536 James Ave, Redwood City, CA 94062. If we are not at the hall when you arrive, please leave donations on the front porch!

Our final 2H 2021 schedule has been posted at Schedule. As you can see from that schedule, we are expected to return to partial in-person meetings on July 18th. We will still continue to broadcast our meetings over Zoom though for those unable to make attend in person.

Our 2H2021 schedule isn’t quite out yet, but because people have been asking, I have posted the draft version of the schedule to the Schedule page. For the time being, we’re still holding services over Zoom, but we are likely to be moving to a more hybrid style during 2H 2021.
